    What is Transportation?

Transportation is safe, friendly rides to the places your loved one needs and wants to go. A trained caregiver drives, helps in and out of the vehicle, and stays alongside during the visit, so a doctor appointment or a trip to the store feels easy instead of exhausting. For clients who use a wheelchair, we also offer a wheelchair accessible van so getting out of the house stays possible.

How transportation helps you or your loved one

    • Keeps important doctor, dental, and therapy appointments from being missed.
    • Lowers the risk of falls in parking lots, curbs, and unfamiliar buildings.
    • Gives family members a break from juggling every ride around work and life.
    • Reduces isolation by making it easy to see friends, visit family, or run errands.
    • Supports independence for clients who use a wheelchair with our accessible van.

    What transportation looks like

Every visit is built around your loved one, but here are some of the everyday moments families can expect.

A ride to the doctor with help checking in and remembering what the doctor said.
A trip to the pharmacy to pick up a new prescription and drop off a refill.
A grocery run together, with help pushing the cart and loading the car.
A visit to the hair salon, barber shop, or nail appointment.
A ride to church, a book club, or a friend's house for coffee.
Wheelchair accessible van pick up for clients who cannot transfer into a car.
A quiet, steady drive home with help back inside and settled in.
