About Hope Care Services
"Even in old age, they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green."
Psalm 92:14
Our Story
Rooted in Community
I am a farmer's daughter, raised in a small Missouri town where life revolved around the community and gatherings were anchored by the light streaming through our stained glass church windows. In that small town, we lived by a simple, beautiful truth: everyone took care of everyone. My heart has always belonged to the folks who live in rural America.
A Shift in Plans, A Divine Purpose
A few years ago, I found myself facing a dilemma many adult children face: my own parents needed care. I knew I could never get my folks off the farm; their roots ran too deep. So, I built a plan. I decided I was going to build and manage a coffee shop four hours away from Omaha, Nebraska, while simultaneously trying to manage my parents' care.
Thankfully, I rely on God to lead and guide my steps. It didn't take long for Him to gently "turn the lights out" on my coffee shop dream. Instead, He began revealing a much bigger, more profound calling on my life: a call to care for the elderly.
Driven by the Word
As I searched for direction, I poured through the scriptures, continually drawn to the commands in the Bible to care for the widows, the orphans, and the elderly. That is when God led me to the verse that would become the driving heartbeat behind everything we do.
"Even in old age, they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green."
Psalm 92:14
Our Mission
Our mission from day one has been simple: to leave HOPE at each and every visit.
We believe that true, lasting hope is built upon a foundation of HONOR and TRUST, which we know is the heartbeat of all meaningful relationships. By honoring the incredible lives our clients have lived and earning their trust through dedicated care, we are able to meet them exactly where they are.
Hope looks different to everyone. To one person, hope is a hot, home-cooked meal or a bed made with crisp, clean sheets. To another, it is a warm hug goodbye and the comforting reassurance of saying, "I will see you tomorrow."
At Hope Care Services, we are not just checking boxes or filling shifts. We are sharing life with the people we serve. We are truly loving, honoring, and caring for every single soul we encounter, ensuring that our rural communities are never left behind.
Our Core Values
Hope Care Services is a Christian based company, founded on biblical principles (New Living Translation) that shape our caregiver culture, client relationships, and business operations. We pray for each other and love one another as God loves us.
Trust
"Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love." Ephesians 4:2
We will always put our clients' needs first and ours second. We will give grace and be patient with our clients.
Honor
"Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you." Exodus 20:12
We will treat our clients with the respect and reverence we have for our own family.
Hope
"Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green." Psalm 92:14
We will leave hope with our clients each time we leave. Hope may look like a made bed, a homemade meal, clean sheets, or a friend to talk to. We still have very much to learn from seniors and we are honored for them to impart their wisdom upon us. They still have very much life to live with purpose and value.
