A caregiver provides a safe and clean environment for seniors by providing professional care-giving services that enable clients to remain independent in their home. Each client has unique needs and we tailor our services to meet those needs. Caregivers must be responsible, dependable, compassionate, caring, and flexible individuals. Experience in household management for non-medical, in-home support services is preferred.

 

Job Description

• Performing light housework (dusting, sweeping, mopping, organizing, bathrooms, taking out the trash, laundry, changing linens)

• Preparing nutritious meals and assistance with eating

• Running errands/shopping

• Providing companionship and social interaction

• Assist with grooming and personal hygiene

• Assist with mobility

• Respite care

• Document shift details and tasks completed

• Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• One personal and one professional reference is required

• Personal or professional experience preferred

• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect

• Approach each situation with a positive attitude and work hard to meet clients' needs

• Friendly and likes to interact with seniors

• Physical ability to complete tasks as outlined in the job description

• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and the ability to be on time to assigned shifts

• Complete and pass a criminal background check

• Obtain CPR/First Aid certification
